Cooper back

Whoopi! My Cooper is back, and it is running great once again. Two main problems were found; one valve was much too tight (why? Let's hope there won't be a sequel to this episode) and there was no damper oil in the carb.

IMM and SMOB pictures

Finally! We've already returned from our holiday in the UK some five weeks ago, and only now I got to putting all my pictures online. Check out the pictures of the Shakespeare Mini on Broadway tour, the International Mini Meeting and the week following it in the picture section. Also some pictures of the rolling road tune of the white Cooper and the Brooklands.

IMM en SMOB foto's

Eindelijk!

Wireless LAN

Guess where I am typing this from. I am chilling in my bed, planning to go to sleep in a few minutes. My laptop is on the sheets, and no wires are running to it... WTF?!? Yup. This morning, my Linksys Wireless Access Point arrived, which means that I can now surf the Internet on my laptop whereever I want around the house. Cool!

Boom Chicago

Wow, what a theatrical week it's been. Wednesday Hans Liberg, and yesterday (friday) Boom Chicago. I am subscribed to their mailinglist, and lo and behold, they had a show planned in The Hague, at the Diligentia Theatre. Perfect oppurtunity to take Demelza to see them, because we planned to do so ever since I went to see Boom in their own little theatre at the Leidseplein in Amsterdam, about half a year ago.

The show we went to see is called Why aren't you happy yet. It's a mix of sketches and improv commedy (they ask the audience for location, jobs, etc. etc., and build a sketch...

Hans Liberg

Yesterday evening, I went to a show by Hans Liberg, by invitation of my girlfriend's parents. With a party of five (parents, grandma, Demelza and me) we went off to the Rijswijkse Schouwburg to see Hans' show Tatata.

In case you don't know Hans Liberg, he presents comical shows, with a lot of music. He plays the piano, guitar, and several other instruments and basically makes musical jokes, playing (with) well known music. (For example, this show featured, among others, Beethoven's Fifth, Gloria and the Nokia Tune). In 1997, Hans won an Emmy Award for his work. Tatata is his...

Joining the Blog community

Wow, finally. The past few months I have been running around with the idea to add a blog to my site. Blog is short for weblog; a log on the web. You're looking at the very first entry in my blog right now. Blogs are one of those hypy things that are actually quite cool. You can add quick updates to your site without touching much HTML, never mind FTP tools and other dirty-hands-type webdevelopment stuff. I chose bBlog for the job, since it's free, open source, and has some pretty cool features.

I had to develop my own template, though, to blend bBlog into the site. Which actually...
