Wow, what a weekend. Hold on, because I just noticed this is by and large my longest blog-post to so far (or, I managed to keep my typing under control so far). Sorry, and congratulations to you in advance if you make it to the end.

Joepie! Mijn Cooper is terug, en hij loopt weer geweldig. Er zijn twee belangrijke problemen boven water gekomen; een klep zat veel te strak (waarom? Laten we hopen dat dit niet nog een staartje krijgt) en er zat geen demperolie in de carb.

Whoopi! My Cooper is back, and it is running great once again. Two main problems were found; one valve was much too tight (why? Let's hope there won't be a sequel to this episode) and there was no damper oil in the carb.

Come to think of it, they let it drain at MiniSport when the car was
there for a rolling road tune, but we never saw them fill it back up
(in al honesty, rolling road tuning wasn't this guy's regular job;
something went wrong with the appointment, so they had to find a
replacement).

Vorige week is de Cooper bij de spuiter geweest. Om een of andere vage reden was er wat verf afgebladderd van het zwarte dak. Hij is ook bij de garage geweest, omdat hij niet erg lekker liep.

Last week, the Cooper has been at the spray painter. For some wacky reason, some paint chipped off the black roof. It's also been to the garage, because it wasn't running very smoothly any more.

Finally! We've already returned from our holiday in the UK some five weeks ago, and only now I got to putting all my pictures online. Eindelijk! We zijn al zo'n vijf weken terug van onze vakantie in Engeland, en nu pas ben ik eraan toe gekomen om mijn foto's online te zetten. Guess where I am typing this from. I am chilling in my bed, planning to go to sleep in a few minutes. My laptop is on the sheets, and no wires are running to it... WTF?!? Yup. This morning, my Linksys Wireless Access Point arrived, which means that I can now surf the Internet on my laptop whereever I want around the house. Cool!

Wow, what a theatrical week it's been. Wednesday Hans Liberg, and yesterday (friday) Boom Chicago. I am subscribed to their mailinglist, and lo and behold, they had a show planned in The Hague, at the Diligentia Theatre. Perfect oppurtunity to take Demelza to see them, because we planned to do so ever since I went to see Boom in their own little theatre at the Leidseplein in Amsterdam, about half a year ago.
