After my IEEE address has seized funcitoning (finally), my anti-spam regime is finally paying off. I don't get any spam! And should spam start arriving on any of the aliases I have left around the Internet, I'll know who's been naughty, and I can cut them off at the click of a button.
But, spammers have found another way to torment me, and that is through this very blog. Dozens of comments have started appearing daily, linking to Viagra, Hot Teens, and whatever else you might imagine. The first step has been to turn on approval for all posts, but that still means I am sifting through all these spam posts every time I check my mail (thanks to the post-alert email, these bastards still reach my by email, ironically).
So, sadly, I have had to turn off comments for all my blog posts. Comments will be allowed for two weeks on new posts, and no more after that. Hopefully, these measures get this situation under control.
If any spammer reads this, you are the scum of the earth, rude, generally unpleasant, and should be locked away for harassment for all eternity.
